It has certainly been a very long and challenging year for both retailers and manufacturers alike.
All of us have had to reevaluate, adjust, and in some cases, completely overhaul our operations in an attempt to weather the storm. We at Michel Design Works continue to be so very impressed by the fortitude, inventiveness, and creativity shown by our retail partners during this unprecedented time.
Truly a herculean effort!
The ripple effect of this pandemic has had far reaching global consequences that no one could have predicted and that continue to impact the supply chain costs. This includes but is not limited to dramatic increases in the costs of raw materials, manufacturing of goods, and shipment of goods. Although to date we have absorbed all of these increases, they continue to climb to the point where we have no choice other than to adjust our prices. We have carefully reviewed each and every product in our catalog and have increased prices only where absolutely necessary.
Our new price list will be effective June 1, 2021. Any orders received on or before May 31, 2021 with a requested ship date of no later than May 31, 2021, will not be affected by the price increase.
